Using oils and acrylics, and favoring the pallet knife, I create paintings that tell the stories of the women I paint. The emotions of the moments captured come from love, passion, and loss ... from the death of my sister to lost love, passion had, and the never ending hope of true love.

Growing up in a small rural town in Western Massachusetts  I was always surrounded by my large family. My fondest memories are of board games with friends, swimming in the rivers, and walks in the rain on a country road. Although I left MA at 18 to serve in the US Navy and to get away from small town living and explore the world, I miss it terribly now and cherish my visits.

I have also lived in Florida and Seattle, settling in southern California in 1998 where my son was born and we eventually made our home in Newport Beach, CA where we now reside.
